USS Marshal: Risk is Our Business!

On behalf of the Command Staff and Crew of the USS Marshal, welcome to our simm! Please feel free to look around and check out all that we have to offer. Browse the site, look through our characters' bios, lurk in our Mission Posts. If you like what you see, apply to join us here!

The USS Marshal is Star Trek Play-by-Web Simm in Obsidian Fleet. We serve in Obsidian Fleet's Task Force 21 in Task Group 21-C.

If you do plan to apply to join us, we would prefer that you use the Blank Character Sheet in the Wiki to organize your thoughts first, rather than just free writing into the application. This will give a more complete picture of your character

Again, welcome and we hope you enjoy reading our posts and sharing in our creativity.

Hey, Folks,

You all saw the email from Admiral Mox removing Dave as CO of the Marshal.

There is now a new Marshal in the Obsidian Fleet IFS, with a new CO. If you would like, you can join that sim, or another OF sim.

This one is officially closed.

It will stay up for a month to allow you to get your characater bios.

Good luck and take care!

Marc, who played Lieutenant Mora Ward (the XO) and Matt, who played Lieutenant George Carlstrom both had to resign because of time commitments elsewhere. I've made them both NPCs. I'm handling Ward for the moment. If anyone wants to deal with Carlstrom, let me know.

I'll be dealing with replacing them soon. In the meantime, let's get moving on completing this mission.

» Still Active (Despite Appearances)

Hello All:

We are still an active sim, people, so please tag regularly. I realize that we have all been waiting for two players. I've taken some steps to compensate for that. In the meantime, we are going to make up for the lag in posting.

Everyone, including me, is behind in posting. Sooooo...I would like a Personal Log from every person on this sim so we can start off this month with a post/log from everyone.

They don't have to be really long, but I expect that you'll give me something substantial. They can be mission related or whatever. I just want some activity on this sim.

I want to thank those of you who have been patiently waiting for something to do. Like I said, I've taken over some things and made it possible for you to post now.

Posted on 27 Jul 2013 @ 6:59am by Commander Sh'Dar Idrani in Sim Announcement

Hi All! (AGAIN)

I just wanted you to know that I passed my CO course! Presumably this means that Sh'Dar is going to be promoted soon from Lt. Commander to Commander and that Ward will be promoted to Lt. Commander and some of the players whose characters took demotions to play on the Marshal may also be promoted to Lt. Commander by the end of the first mission.

When will this happen? I have no idea. I passed earlier this week. It's up to our TGCO and TFCO to promote me. I don't know if they don't know I passed (unlikely, I would assume that my instructor has told would hope that is how it works) or if they are waiting for us to complete the first mission (possible) or if they just haven't gotten around to it yet.

Anyway, I passed. I think it is a safe bet that we're here to stay for at least a little while. Let's get through the first mission and on to even more exciting missions yet to come!

Posted on 01 Oct 2013 @ 8:11am by Commander Sh'Dar Idrani & Lieutenant Michael Mountford

With the immediate threat to the Marshal indisputably gone for now, Mountford followed Sh'Dar into his ready room, thanking a Chief who took over at the Tactical station.

Mountford might have guessed what was coming. He knew comparatively little about Andorians, but cultural differences aside, even a human Starfleet Captain…

It has been an interesting time on board the Glinir so far. The Andorian crew, after their seeminly ritual hazing of we, 'pink skins', have been fun. I have to admit, from one prankster to another, I could appreciate the idea of the extra salt in the food. My stomach…
